Exploring the commonality between the spare Shaker style and Danish simplicity, Hans J. Wegner’s 1960s series boasts a rich solid hardwood lounge chair and accompanying footstool. Exactingly crafted in solid oak with a number of finish choices, the pieces feature the designer’s preference for visible joinery that is as much a mark of finesse as it is of sturdy construction. CH44 exudes comfort with its angled and curved backrest and both the chair and stool have handwoven paper cord seats in natural or black.
