Timb’s deceptive simplicity is quite intentional—Simon Legald’s side chair has a nuanced contrast between its curves and sharp lines. In the artisan tradition, the elegant dowel joinery makes it possible to manufacture the seating without the need for screws, keeping the sustainably sourced wood the focal point, as suggested by its name. With a solid-ash frame and a wide, comfortable seat and backrest made from ash veneer, Timb is available in either a golden tan or black lacquered finish to meld with almost any environment.
